Hi, and welcome ♥

Thank you so much for visiting my website. You can find information about all of my books by clicking on the tabs at the top of this page.

I would really appreciate it if you would join my mailing list, this means that you will receive an email every so often about future events, such as book signings I may be attending and special offers on my books. If you like my work, it’s a good way to be informed about any new releases I have coming up.

The blog tab is for reviews I’ve written about the books that I’ve read, and I also post musings and other useless or even useful information that I come across.

All of my books so far are centred around strong women, and although the men in these women’s lives are strong characters too, I find it more enlightening to write about female character development. That’s just my personal preference.

I have written six full length novels up to date, and they are:

Belleza (Belleza: Book One) – This is a standalone erotic romance with a little suspense and was the first book I ever wrote. I started writing this book mainly because I’d just been discharged from hospital after a four and a half month stay. I was recovering at home and bored to tears. There is only so much TV you can watch in a day before it all becomes mundane. I read quite a few novels while I was in hospital and at home, then one day I just thought, let’s give it a go and the premise for Belleza was born.

Alias (Belleza: Book Two) – This is a spin off from Belleza and can be read as a standalone. It is also an erotic romance, with a quite a lot of suspense. Trixie appears in the first book and I found her a fascinating character, so I had to give her her own voice. This lady is a foxy minx… you have been warned.

Please note: Both of these books are quite a light read, but there may be some triggers that readers are uncomfortable with.

Then I wrote ’30 Days’. This is an erotic thriller. This epic standalone novel has a lot of sex, violence and bad language, so reader discretion is advised. I really loved writing this book and trying to come up with ways to keep the reader guessing was a mammoth task.

Then I wrote GirlsQuad – A Best of Friends Series Book One, and GirlsQuad – A Best of Friends Series Book Two.

This story centres around four amazing women of different ages, personalities and styles. My inspiration for this book was my friends. I realised that groups of friends all get along, mainly because each persons character is completely different to the other. I loved writing the banter between these four women and I really tried to convey their love for each other over the pages.

My new release (12th July 2018) is called Jersey Girl, and I can’t wait for you all to read it. Check out the tab at the top of the page for more info.

I really hope you find something that appeals to you and you enjoy reading my work.

Thank you for taking the time to visit.

Much love

♥ About Me ♥

Jane A Heron Author

My name is Jane and I write under the name of J A Heron.

I live in a small town called Burton on Trent, Staffordshire in the middle of England. This lovely little town is famous for making beer, and I have called it home since I was born.

I have a daughter called Shelby and although I was a young mother, I couldn't be more proud of the the beautiful young lady I have raised, I was eighteen years old when she came into my life, and I love her more than anything in the world.

I am quite a positive person, and with some of the hardships I have encountered over the years has made me a stronger person. I lost my mum to cancer, and although I lost my best friend that day I believe in my heart that she would be proud of me.

I started writing because of my love for books, but also, because of my disability. I was a bit of a medical miracle you see, I survived, when I really shouldn't have. And whilst my illness left me with some lasting effects, it also left me with a new outlook, determination and confidence that I could do it, so I did!I have loved reading for a number of years now, and my only regret is that I wish I had read more as a youngster. I believe it is very important to teach children the love of books from an early age, the earlier the better in my opinion.

I'm married to a wonderful man called Ian. He is very supportive of my writing and calls me 'his clever girl', for some reason this always makes me blush. Ian and my daughter know when to give me some space to write, they know that I can become quite tetchy when in the zone. But they also know that I need an endless supply of coffee, and maybe some chocolate thrown into the mix.

I believe in my work, I believe in my stories, and I hope you do too...trust me, there's a lot more to come! Jane xoxo
